How so? It's mostly lore that gets explained much further down the line.

A semblance of a broken romance at first. And at some point romance is there, albeit subdued. In any case, I assure you it's nothing forced. Just like in real life, it even comes all natural!

don't mind this one. Now, to get on with my shameless review/advertisement, I write this to roughly break down the story. This is about a creature, Thoth, ancient as hell and totally oblivious about parenting who, for some inexplicable reason, has been bound to a youth. With the essence, fuel of the soul, entwined, there is no escape. Circumstances that are especially daunting for someone freshly out of prison. Notwithstanding the many years of experience granted by an immortal life, Thoth is sure to fall into every fallacy imaginable, tearing out his scales when confronted with a new strange situation. Yet that alone is not all to the novel. I made an effort to flesh out the world as interactive as possible. There, things move on their own, not waiting for Thoth at all. Humans will label him a rebel out of nowhere, his own creations embark on the warpath against the creator, elves shoot themselves in the foot willingly, dragons piss him off and much more... all because he simply exists. Read how he handles the issues one by one, displaying incredibly forced level-headedness. This is not about senseless slaughter, not about an incredibly shallow protagonist, overpowered to no end, and not about continuous action. It is about a journey, arduous, everlasting and real. Has this garnered your interest? Then read on as much as you like. Comments are welcome and reviews valuable feedback teaching me how to be a better author.

Nah, only here and that's mostly for fun. Though, well... I was wondering if my story was just this *bad*. Seems like somebody got hooked ;)

Fantasy MAGIC MYSTERY DARK SUPERPOWERS OVERPOWERED CULTIVATION SLICEOFLIFE GENIUS NONHUMAN IMMORTAL

Entry 1, year who-knows, location unknown. Dear Diary, Calamity struck. Aeons passed and I'm back. Hoooorayyyy!!! With barely anyone remembering history, not mine, not theirs. Information's gone to... you know where. When I left, the realms were at war. Know what? They still are. Soothing and very welcome circumstances. My playground. Nice for seclusion, I tell you. Yet... peace and quiet hate me to the bone. Know about parenting? As if you would. Yes, me neither. Of all magic in the world, nothing hides from my eyes. But this...? It's magic of another kind. Unknown, clingy, dangerous, possessive, fuzzy... screamy and dirty. Calamity never comes alone. In pairs it does, but fluffy? Don't laugh. Not that you ever will, but just don't. I've been summoned. No Grand Mage, no absolute villain, no mastermind seeking destruction or whatnot. No. It was... a youth. Or rather, it wasn't even a youth. It was less. Yet the less stuck, dammit all! ---------------------------------------------------------- Black_Pot greets you! This story is mostly about parenting in realms riddled with war. About an invincible father figure that is as much of a helpless worry-wart as he is a disaster to his surroundings. And a baby, future calamity in the making! Discover how they change the world together, uproot the old and welcome the new! This story features some changes in POVs down the line.
