so now im quite confused on your timelin..... this is before borderlands 1 but after pre sequel as far as i know... which begs the question how is wainwright already middleaged? also shouldnt him and hammerlock hookup after borderlands 2 which is a couple of years down the line? are you going au on your timeline?
I suppose I should also mention I got acquainted with Monty's son and heir Wainwright as well as his sons lover/best friend Alistair Hammerlock. Wainwright Jakobs wasn't a very imposing person like his father but rather more of a mild mannered gentleman. He had wild graying brown hair and bad eyesight but was a peach to just sit around and shoot the shit with. Hammerlock was kinda a stereotypical british explorer/biologist/hunter with a robotic eye and arm and all about "the call of adventure". Let me tell you the dude was an absolute encyclopedia of knowledge on all things animal.

so basically a way to nerf how strong hes getting. all the way until the endo if the story, hes now under the thumb of the god... which he can only escape via counter desu ex maxhina... this has been a real dollop of shit on an otherwise great story... hopefully you can justify why this was done
