Loki dodged with an expression of slight surprise, as Alex was now coated in a golden aura and the pressure coming off of him was immense. Everyone else noticed this as well, and displayed different levels of shock before returning their attention to the current battle. When Alex saw his attack miss, he then Swung himself around and aimed his foot at Loki instead. He caught Alex's attack with his hand, but Loki was actually pushed back a little before Alex swiftly moved himself away. He didn't want to have Loki keep him in his grasp too long, even if he didn't specialize in combat Loki was still a god.
