Fujino has always been in an awkward spot narratively. She's basically the same as Sakura in concept and even mirrors her in character design. However, Sakura is always inevitably higher priority for authors for various reasons. The problem then becomes whether the author should bother with a Sakura clone, and in almost all cases the answer is "no". In theory, the author could write a Typemoon fanfic where the MC goes down a Fujino route first, but for most fans that would seem like heresy because they miss the timing to save Sakura. In the end, Fujino becomes a lost heroine that gets overlooked 99% of the time. In a certain sense, I'm pleased to see her here, yet on the other hand she's still a Sakura clone so I also feel that it's repetitive.

Honestly, too much of this story is just repeating F/Z scenes to an extensive degree.

Author really going to great lengths to justify combat power for Gilles.

Novel weapon, but no. Just no.

At least it's Canadian cuisine and not some Chinese "the best food in the world with endless depth and mysteries."

Assassin would also mess up the plot a lot by giving Kirei a much more functional class servant. But hey, just go with Scathach assassin and you have all bases covered.
