Kason Vale has lived in Selmore village all his life. Brought up in the shadows of the Blackwood, he has never seen much magic and is woefully lacking in knowledge of life outside the village. But that all changes when he begins his journey to Constantine's 4th College for the Arcane Arts, one of the most prestigious centres for magical learning in the country, where he himself is to learn the mystic arts! What awaits Kason? He doesn't know. And as long as he gets to learn magic, he doesn't really care either.

Out of the endless expanse of clouds, one mountain peak rears its magnificent head. Reaching high above the cloud layer, it dominates the surrounding area with its profound serenity. This is cultivation peak, the home of saints and immortals, of sects and clans of earth-shaking strength. On this peak, many people strive to become the next immortal and to push back the tide of mindless demonic beasts. Our protagonist is a young boy from the Lisen clan called Aren, knowing that he would not find greatness within his clan, he set out to find another path...
