You and Me, Together

An excerpt from the story:


"Hey."

Lumingon ito sa kaniya.

"Remember that in this game, you can't fall in love with me." Where the hell did it come from?!

He smirked, "As if I would."

Sumimangot siya, "Grabe ka..."

"Wala akong magagawa kung hindi kita type?" Sumimsim itong muli ng alak at ibinalik ang pansin sa dagat.

Lumabi siya, "So, anong type mo?"

"Well, for starters, I like women with sense of humor-"

"Excuse me?! Are you saying na wala akong sense of humor?"

He shrugged, "I also like women with smooth, honey-coloured skin. Tall and-" he stared at her breasts, "-blessed."

Pinagkrus niya ang mga braso sa dibdib, "How dare you!"

"Sinagot ko lang ang tanong mo. You wanted to know my kind of girl, so there you go." Ngumisi ito at muling dinala sa bibig ang baso ng alak.

"You could at least skip the 'women with smooth, honey-coloured skin and blessed', you idiot! Alam ko namang maputla ako at-" niyuko niya ang dibdib at nanlumo.

Natawa ito nang makita ang ginawa niya, "What can I do? I'm an honest man."

"Your honesty feels like a knife in my pride!"
