I told Shanguan Xi to keep this from Shanguan Zu Jin and Pei Qin. I only need Li Jin because of the soldiers and Su Ming Xi for investigating this case.

As much as possible, I don't want to drag my three husbands with these affairs.

I was about to speak again when Su Ming Xi butted in. He looks at me with such worried eyes.

"We already talk about this matter, your highness. We agreed that you'd report to me the things you wished to be solved, but what is this?" he growls in a controlled tone.

He forgot that the emperor consort was here. I look into his eyes and turn my body to face him better.

"I know we talked about this, but there are things that happen because the situation asks for it," I replied.

He looks at me with such frustrated eyes. He was really mad because of how reckless my actions were. He sighed and gave me a warning glance.
