Kapitel 106: The Negotiations Begin

Locke took the blue booklet and opened it.

On it was Jacques' name and photo. On the position row was written — Director of Education!

'No wonder this guy's in a good mood today. He even made a personal visit just to check up on why I skipped class.'

'So he's finally been promoted, huh!'

"Congratulations, instructor. I mean... director," Locke said with a smile as he handed the booklet back.

Jacques took a puff of his cigarette and said, "Sigh, the old man has finally vented his anger. He has finally transferred me and Trista back to his side. We'll meet each other much more often in the future."

Locke was relieved that Jacques had completely forgotten about the book matter.

"But then again, I have never understood why the old man is on such good terms with you. He's never bothered by your jokes. Don't tell me that the two of you are..." Jacques had his suspicions on the matter.
