So that's the reason why !
After watching the 1+ minute video, Arjun finally figured out the continuous gain of Fame points.
At the moment, the number of Fame points he had was 4000+. Correspondingly the number of views of the video was 450k+. Let say 50k of those views were invalid or that of those people who didn't had much impression on that video.
If that was the case, then for every 100 people he makes an impression, he gains 1 Fame points, right?
As Arjun thought about it deeply, he figured the basic outline of how this Fame points system works. There were still some questions lingered in his mind.
Can this method work on same person multiple times? Like, if he gets 1 point by impressing 100 people, can he another point if he impressed them again?
And this impression. What kind of impression is considered as an impression? For example making people Happy and content? or making them feel surprise or astonishment? or does making them feel fear or excitement works too?
Multiple questions lingered in his mind. Pushing those thoughts at the back of his head, Arjun shook his head with a smile. Anyway, why bother about unnecessary things. As the time pass by, he will figure out everything eventually. There is no need to think too much right now...
For now, he is satisfied. Fame points are just too important. Now that he gained an understanding of how to gain them, with a bonus of his video becoming viral, Arjun is pretty happy. But he quickly suppressed it.
For him who was aspiring to become a Super Star, this little Fame is not even considered as a first step. There is a long long way to until he achieve his goal.
..... That reason was secondary.
The most important reason is..*Ahem he had to look calm and collected. Looking at his friends' sparkling eyes, he could guess that they must be waiting to see his reaction. So he must feign calm and apathy in order look cool.
Is looking calm that important? Of course. It's not just imporant but more than important. The more calm you are, the more cool you look. The more cool you look, the more people admire you and will be be awed by you...
Arjun wasn't wrong. Knowing that Arjun still isn't aware of his video's popularity, Sri Ram, Pranav and the brothers were indeed looking forward to see his reaction after knowing it.
Will he be surprised? Stunned? Or even scream in joy?
They were very much interested to see his reaction. But too bad they were bound to be disappointed.
Except for a small frown, a bit daze and a light smile at the last, which immediately disappeared, there was no considerable amount of reaction on Arjun's face.
"Bro, are you not happy?"
Sri Ram looked at Arjun doubtfully.
"It was not bad. Still very normal. There no need to be that happy."
Arjun replied indifferently without much expression on his face.
Not bad? Normal? No need to be happy?
His reply agitated his friends to no end.
May be he still isn't aware of it's real popularity?
Thinking inwardly, Sri Ram started explaining.
"450k+, 100k likes, 76k comments, 100+ attached view, that too in just 2+ days. The video was not just normal, it was one of the most trending videos this month."
Sri Ram even took the phone from Pranav's hands and scrolling the screen down, he showed some of it's comments and attachment videos to Arjun.

As for attachment videos, there were some interesting ones which were liked by many people.
The most liked attachment video was from the same guy who did the first comment.

I tried it with my boss, now we are finally a couple 😍😍😍.
The attached video showed a young man trying the same with a bit chubby but good looking lady. The young man seemed a bit nervous in the video. When he successfully tricked the lady and touched her nose with his tongue, the lady looked surprised. But she didn't show much rejection. In the end, it evolved into a heart warming kiss.
This attachment sub video had more 5k likes. It was not just that, there were many other interesting ones too.
There was one of a husband trying it on her wife and getting smacked in the face at the end.
A young lady who wasn't on good terms with her boyfriend these days tried this on him and they made up in the end.
Someone tried to do this as prank to a random girl on the road, but he got kicked in the balls while trying. He looked pretty miserable after that.

Sri Ram even showed the discussions about it on various forums to Arjun.
After reading all these comments, discussions and watching attachment videos, Arjun was even more surprised. He didn't think that this small trick would make such a huge impact.
Even this kind of video would become that popular? Are people in this world that bored?
Now Arjun was even more sure that the entertainment in this world deteriorated a lot compared to his previous world.
"Hmm, not bad. But still so and so "
Though Arjun was surprised again, he didn't show show it on his face. He replied with a calm tone.

Is this still the same shy friend/ big brother who used to get agitated with a bit attention? It seems like he really changed.
Sri Ram and others sighed to themselves.
"Oh right, if we are not here for the party? Then ...?"
Suddenly Chintu asked a question with perplexed tone, which immediately drew everyone's attention.
Right ! If they were not called for the party? Then ....
"Of course, to rehearse a skit for Spirit Award Fest."
Arjun replied matter-of-factly. He still didn't forget the original intentions in calling them. The Skit he prepared needed 5 people, that's why he called Sri Ram and told him to bring Pranav and two others.
"... You are kidding, right?"
Hearing Arjun's words, they were at loss of words this time. Sri Ram and Pranav did witness Arjun successfully tricking Johan into getting a spot for Spirit Award Fest. But they thought it was just to slap his face. They really didn't think he was serious about it.
After all, while it is indeed true that Spirit Award Fest is an opportunity to enter Entertainment industry, it is also a ticket to hell.
Don't forget, there will be millions of people watching on live, including your parents, relatives, neighbors, friends, enemies, aquaintences.. if one mess up, they become a laughing stock. There is a chance it might cause incurable trauma, which will haunt them in the future.
Live on a popular regional TV channel is no joke. That's the reason most of the students don't dare to try if they are not confident enough.
"Of course not. Why would I joke about this? I'm really serious. Oh and you can choose not to. I guarantee It won't effect our friendship."
Arjun tone and serious expression told them that he was not jesting. He was damn serious about it.
Now the most rational thing to do was to choose not to participate. He even told them that it won't effect their friendship.
But.. they didn't do it immediately.
They didn't know why but they felt like time stopped for them as there was an invisible road appeared before their eyes; a road that was leading to an unknown and unpredictable destination.
The road looked thin, dangerous, intimidating and warning them to not to step on it. But they was an urge, an unbearable urge in their hearts telling them to move forward.
Sri Ram tightly clenched his fists. Unlike Pranav, he doesn't have talent in dancing. Unlike Arjun, he doesn't have a peerless handsome face. In the future, there is a possibility that they might leave him far behind.
Now there is an opportunity presenting before his eyes. Should he take a step forward and grab it or not?
Pranav was dazed. He already lost a chance because of some silly issues. But he is still confident that he could enter Entertainment industry and become a good choreographer. He is not the kind of guy who take risks, especially when it concerns his future.
But what is life without risks? He had always been gentle and indecisive. Now there is an opportunity, should he take a risk or continue being careful?
As for the brothers, they didn't have much thoughts. They were very close to Arjun because he was very similar to them, shy and introverted. Now he became someone confident and cool, they might become someone like him if they follow him. Should they accept his offer or not?
In a while all of them found their answers.
"Fuck it, atmost I will become laughing stock. count me in."
"Count me in too."
" "We are in to too." "
Hearing their replies, Arjun's lips curved as a smile appeared on his face.
"Don't worry. You guys won't be disappointed."
