Glen was staring at his mate's face which was calm and still. His parted lips let out a regular breath and his chest rose and fell in a barely perceptible way. Just like the first time Eden had fallen into this magic sleep, the omega showed no signs of an imminent awakening.

The spell cast on him was so powerful that none of the Skinwalkers, not even Connor or Elias, managed to interfere. Glen's face showed his concerns more than ever. He has been confident that, like the last time he woke up at the critical moment, his omega would surprise him, but the day of battle had arrived and Eden's eyelids were still closed.
