Hollow....
You could look and stare. You could research all you want, but no one could ever understand why the Alpha behaved the way he did or what the circumstances were that led to his fearful facade.
All everyone in the pack registered was to never cross lines with the Alpha. No one even dared.
Yes, he is hot and all the females without mates dream of getting in wet with him,
The one problem was,
but he would never give his body to anyone that isn't his mate.
He made that pretty obvious when he almost killed a girl for touching him sensually....
'they'll never get it'
He keeps whispering in his head....
Day in day out, he's drained in sorrow
'They would never understand how I felt that day '
All because he is scared.
That day changed everything for him... everything....
"Alpha, the mist has affected the other packs and it's heading for ours now"
Jamie groaned as his eyes darkened in anger
His breathing getting heavy as he voices out his thoughts
"We need to find a solution...I can't have my pack members dying....again"
He whispered the last part. Right away one could tell he got distressed for a second
He took the left corner to his office
"Call on Axel, I need to speak him"
He said authoritatively as he sat down on his chair ready to get to work.
The guard leaves and he takes this opportunity to scheme through the daily reports of his pack before Axel comes.
Death....
It was the one thing he tried to avoid but the constant thing that continues to eat up slowly into his pack
He hated it so much.
Legend has it that he once had a mate he loved more than anyone...
History testifies her dead...
Rumors says it's the reason for his facade, and the hatred of the mist
A knock on the door distracted him from his thoughts
"Alpha"
Axel's face pops in the next minute as he walks in
His brown hair looking all scattered about. His tank top drenched in sweat and sweat rolling down his face like drops of rain
'probably just finished training'
Jamie said to himself.
"You sure are over working huh"
Axel rolled his eyes as he leaned on the door frame
"I mean coming from a person who sits in his office all day forgetting his Alpha duties"
Jamie looked at him lazily a tiny smirk appeared on his face
"You are my Gamma for a reason"
Axel just blinked the comment away as he refused to get fazed with his best friend's words.
Usually the beta is the Alpha's close friend but in this case, no. Jamie chose not to get close to the beta for some personal reasons which most definitely includes her being a female overly obsessed with him.
That wasn't all though....they was more to it that no one dared too ask
She was also the in charge of training the warriors while the gamma was in charge of recruiting new warriors and security allocation for watching the pack.
"Why did you call me here Jamie"
Jamie sighed and ran his hands through his hair frustrated
"If it's not a solution I'm looking for I've got nothing up my sleeves"
"How many times do I have to sing it out that there is nothing we can do...I guess it's the moon goddess way of telling us everyone will die one day and ours is soon"
Jamie banged his hand in frustration and burning anger that has long been buried
"Isn't she tired of taking what is mine? isn't she tired of ruining my life?"
Axel knew better than to speak when Jamie was angry
Him, the beta, Jamie and his parents knew what happened that day and why Jamie was the way he was now
No one could really do much to help. That was the first time anyone had seen Jamie so weak and helpless.... devastated even
Jamie raised his head up and said with a calm voice
"Bring me....Hazula!"
