The world was ending, but Seraphyne couldn't bring herself to believe it. The sky overhead had fractured into a myriad of colors, each one bleeding into the next like the last breath of a dying star. The ground beneath them heaved and trembled, splitting apart, sending violent cracks of light and shadow shooting into the sky. The fabric of both worlds—Earth and the Enchanted Realm—had unraveled, merging and warping into something unrecognizable. Chaos was the only certainty now.

Seraphyne, Xavierre, and Keizu stood together on the precipice of the collapse, their bodies trembling from exhaustion, their souls weighed down by the magnitude of their actions. They had fought battles, defied fate, and, in the end, made choices that were not their own but ones they had to live with nonetheless. The Keeper—who had been their guide, their mentor, and their antagonist—stood beside them, his form dissolving slowly, like sand slipping through an hourglass.
