Kapitel 639: Chapter 0638: Sooner or Later, She'll Be My Wife

Jaylene knew that it was already a week later when Aurora Richardson and Phoebe Smith were released and everything was fine.

This week, she was staying in Joseph Thompson's apartment in the Star Ocean City for her postpartum confinement. Joseph was going to work early and returning late, and with no nanny in the house, her meals were delivered by the Calcim Pavilion.

When she moved in, she was worried that Joseph would bother her at night for no reason. Although she couldn't do anything during her confinement, Joseph would come and nibble on her tofu.

However, it turned out she may have worried too much. During the week she lived there, Joseph didn't stay even when he picked her up on the first day. He went on a business trip to Hong Kong on Monday and did not return for a week.

So, she had a particularly lonely and monotonous week, spending all day either watching TV, sleeping, drawing design drawings on her laptop, or reading books while lying in bed.
