Kapitel 181: Peach Blossoms

The water in the pool barely reached her waist. Su Jiu's eyes were focused on that bookshelf, and she failed to notice where she was stepping. She suddenly tripped over an object and instantly fell into the pool. With a 'swish', the man glided over like a fish and grabbed Su Jiu by her waist, before sinking to the bottom of the pool with her.

The water submerged her on all sides. Su Jiu held her breath and suddenly widened her eyes. Dim rays of light filtered through the clear water; the man's handsome and mesmerizing face was staring straight at her through the water.

Their eyes met, but they had no means to speak. Their black hair tangled and intertwined, just like seaweed drifting back and forth in the water. After a period of silence, Su Jiu frowned slightly and pushed her arms against the water, propelling herself back to the surface.
