Kapitel 229: Chaos

Using his shadow step ability, Lucius could stay hidden in the shadows for as long as he needed to. After a few hours of waiting, soldiers began to show up.

From the safety of a tree branch covered by a canopy of leaves, Lucius watched soldiers sweep through the forest around the warehouse first before allowing their trucks and vans in.

Lucius watched vans and trucks drive towards the warehouse. The doors opened, and people rushed into the abandoned warehouse and began bringing out materials. 

Materials of various types used for the crafting of bombs and locally-made weapons. While hastily filling up the vans and truck, Lucius noticed someone in one of the trucks.

He didn't show himself initially because he didn't think the culture would leave this place unprotected, and he was right. While everyone was active, Lucius noticed a figure seated in the car, unmoving.
