Damien's pov
It's the 4th day of another month and that makes Rian 8months gond and 3 months in coma but I got a call the night before telling me Rian made movement and she might be waking up soon,I was overjoyed that I would have driven Down to the hospital but it was late in the night so I kept it to myself and now it's 5:45am and I'm on my way to the hospital I've chosen to be selfish if my wife is waking up soon I want to be the first and only person she'll be seeing before anyone else so I freed myself of any meetings and decided to spend the whole day at the hospital in case Rian wakes up,I didn't even tell anyone at home but I was sure to tell the maids to inform mum and Bel to stay back at home since there's a special nurse taking care of my wife already,as soon as I got to the hospital I met the doctor on duty on my way to Rian's ward,and he gave me full details of what happened the night before the signs they saw and there's a hint of hope in his voice that Rian will wake up soon enough,that means the machine that was imported from Asia is very effective and is working wonders on my wife,it took time though but at least it's better than before...
I sat ny Rian's bedside and rubbing her belly and then I saw something magical my twins moved in their mother's womb I saw it and I took out my phone and record the best moment of my life,even tho their mother is still lying there unconscious my twins are letting me know they are there for me and will survive no matter what,I saw one of the twins move it's hands and the other moved it legs and their mother's tommy started moving I didn't know when my tears flow down my eyes this is something I'm seeing for the first time and the biggest part was I was the only one seeing this,I touched their hands and feet and they moved again to another side of their mother's belly and I laughed amidst my tears saying hey babies Daddy is here for you,you two are the best gift life has given me,even through the fight your mother protected you two with her life and you know what you two fought as well cause you know I'll sad mum and Dad will be if we ever loose you,I'm glad you're In there fighting your way,can you help me speak to your mum I laughed and cried at the same time and continued talking to my babies while recording and rubbing their mum's tommy,tell momma it's time to wake up from her sleep she's been asleep for too long that I miss her everyday tell her I'm here next to her waiting for her to talk to me again...
Lemme tell you a secret my babies it's been a long time since dad had a proper sleep and I have to work hard just because momma isn't there with me to cuddle me to sleep or to talk to me when I needed to hear her voice ,you know what babies it's been long I heard mum's voice that I begin to ask myself what she'll sound like if she finally talks again while saying all this I kept rubbing Rian's tommy,but my twins stopped moving guess they're asleep now but I still get to record their movement and would show it to their mum anytime she wakes up,I kept talking to the twins I said to them do you think your mum will sound like a frog or fish when she speaks after a long time??I laughed at my own words I was too deep in my conversation with the twins that I didn't realize that Rian is awake already and she's been listening to everything I've been saying so far infact she's smiling at me right now,but I didn't notice on time,I kept talking like no one is listening and I said if she sounds like a frog after she talks to me you know what I'll record her and use it to make fun of her anytime she scolds you two,I can't wait to have you in my arms okay,I just decided to look at Rian's face and probably adjust her hair only for me to see are eyes are wide open and she removed the tube in her mouth and she has a beautiful smile on her lips even though she's still very much weak but her smile didn't falter at all,and out of shock I sprung out of my hair and she just kept smiling I wanted to run out and a doctor but I wanted to be sure she's really awake or maybe I'm daydreaming,I called her name Arianna??and she hummmed as an anwer,You can't tell how happy I am at the moment,then she finally did speak to me she said are you ganging up with the twins now??even though she's still weak and her voice is a little shaky,I realized how much I've missed her and she even still asked me how do I sound after all, whoops I said laughing how long have you been awake and listening to what I've been saying??not too long though but long enough to hear you tell the twins how much you've missed me,I placed a kiss on her lips and said thank you for coming back to me baby you don't know how worried sick I and everybody are, Mum and Bel spends their days here while I spend my nights here,I explained everything to her she requested for water and I helped her sit and that's when she saw her tommy and exclaimed so I asked what was wrong and he asked a question still surprised how long was I in coma??3 months baby and the twins are 8months plus now I replied oh waoow,she was so happy that she cried and I hold her I know I should call the doctors to come check up on her but I wanted to have all this moment to myself before letting anyone in,After some minutes I helped her rest her back on a pillow then called the doctors in and when they came In they were so happy that they all congratulated themselves for a successful job since three months now and they congratulated me for being patient with them and the process and for never giving up,so I was asked to excuse them so they can do their jobs well,that's when I placed a call home
