Kapitel 62: I'm Okay II

Mai doesn't care about the past anymore, about what Aaron will do to pay for his mistakes. Mai thinks about the mistakes she made, what the consequences will be, what will happen later. Even though Aaron had wronged her, Mai never wanted Aaron to make up for it this way.

Nica took a breath.

"Whatever," she said.

"As a friend I just want you to be happy, Mai. If this is what you want I will support you." Said Nica again.

"Thanks, Ca, after all, Eddo is right, it's not good to be enemies. We're all friends." Said Mai.

"Don't you know, being friends with people like that is scary you know," said Nica.

"I do." Said Mai.

"Don't worry... If he does anything or hurts you again, I'll beat him up." Said Nica. The attitude of wanting to protect Mai arose again. Nica is that kind of person.

Mai smiled.
