One of Adley's eyebrows rose at that. Wasn't it very clear that Livia had rejected it? Wait, earlier the woman said not to refuse and not to accept it. Did he want anything else to persuade her?

"Marry me, Livia. I'll change and treat you so well that you'll regret not accepting my feelings right away." Adley again handed the bouquet of one hundred red roses to Livia.

The woman smiled, then grabbed the flower.

"I accept this flower does not mean I will marry you, sir."

"So?" Adley asked just getting more confused. The woman was really toying with him to her heart's content.

"So far we've only been talking about work. Now approach it properly. If you're lucky I'll accept your feelings. Ah, as for the ring, keep it and wear it later when I've agreed to marry you."
