For anyone wondering if they should pick this story up, or unsure if a SS fan-fiction would even be worth it, I can assure you that IT IS WORTH IT. Reading this has given me a feeling similar to reading Shadow Slave itself for the first time, a sense of wonder, character growth, unique story, and interesting personalities. Updates are mostly consistent, grammar is great; save a few errors that are completely understandable.
Author took a gutsy decision to write a fic on such a hellish hard topic as the original set the bar too high and is doing a great job so everyone please support it. Please keep the updates stable and don't drop it.
I really like the way you keep Sunny's early character intact in the later chapters, I also think the way that Dane earned his aspect is believable and cool. That whole first nightmare was great in general. I can't wait to see more!

The world buildings is pretty good but the best part of this fanfic is definitely the characters, all of them are very well written, it just a shame that they all end up... happy! yes, happy!
One of the best fanfics I found on this entire page is like rereading the original novel but from other perspectives it is excellent I ask the author of this story: when are the next chapters coming out?
There are few fanfics on shadow slave and even fewer good ones. The author knows the canon very well and has a great imagination. The written world feels alive and close in spirit to the original. The character of the characters from the source material has been retained. The original characters introduced are truly excellent. Mc in this fanfic is really extremely well thought out both in terms of abilities and character. It can be argued that this fanfic is the benchmark of shadow slave fanfics. P.s. it is worth noting that the author always answers questions about the content of the fanfic, this is very valuable

I just find this a really great read, the strenht and flaws of the characters are balanced and the story isn't just a copy of Shadow slave with a new char. it's original in the world of ss and would recommend it to everyone even if they havn't read ss.Great work Author i hope you keep writing this ff

One of the best shadow slave fanfics and honestly just a good new take on the shadow slave series doesn't even have to be a fanfic just taking what's already there and paving its own rode if you like shadow slave and just want to see more of what the world of shadow slave has to offer then definitely give this story a dive
