Kapitel 52: Chapter 52: When do you think you feel despair the most?

General POV:

Humans are greedy creatures.

No matter how much you gave them, they would always desire more.

It's just that some desire it more frantically than others.

They would become so consumed by the need for more power that they would stop caring about everything except getting their hands on the next dose of authority. 

Unquestionably, Daisy belonged to the latter group, as she too had that thirst for power, and when she actually got that power, she got addicted to it.

The amount of mana that filled her whole body, and a sense of omnipotence, made her feel as if she had the whole world within her palm.

'Is this the feeling of strength?'

It was exhilarating.

When she closed her eyes, the unimaginable power ran inside her body like a volcano ready to erupt.

Bang! 

With just one punch, Daisy faced off against another female cadet and easily won.
