Katherine turned to look at him, taking a step forward.

Shane, who was about to give the girl a piece of his mind, stood there, looking at the girl.

Something about her was different. It was almost as if the girl who used to roam around him, wanting his attention, was a completely different person.

Not only did Delilah's dressing style, attitude, and confidence change, but it felt like there was a drastic change in her aura too.

The girl in front of him was capable of looking straight into his eyes. She wasn't shy, nor was she soft-spoken and timid anymore. Her eyes were still innocent, but with the innocence, they held a strange fierceness that was never there before.
