Zephyr looked at Delilah, unsure of what to say when she demanded a thing as simple as this but held so much meaning behind her words.

He didn't know what was going on inside her heart, but her innocent and genuine expression was what made his heart melt in the moment.

"I will smile a lot. If you would be the reason behind it," Zephyr said before he stepped forward.

"However, can I ask you something in return even when you are already helping me?" Zephyr asked, and Katherine furrowed her brows before nodding softly.

Zephyr looked into her honey-red eyes that were looking at him curiously, holding him captive in her gaze.

"I want you to trust me. Whatever happens, no matter who it is, if someone bullies you, I want you to tell me. Since you are going to help me, I want to take responsibility for your happiness and safety too," Zephyr said.
