"One more word about my leader, and I would rather choose the punishment of decapitation from the Royalty for killing you now and here," Simon said.

Delilah looked at him, amazed.

"What do you mean? Aren't you the one who betrayed her? What are you showing all this love and care towards her for when she is dead?" She continued. 

Simon glared at the woman before him and understood she was just accusing him because she was curious about the truth. 

He sighed and massaged his forehead. 

Rather than answering her, he stayed silent. 

"What happened? Cat got your tongue? Don't tell me you are not the one who got the most benefit from her death. Don't tell me you didn't take over her position. You are working for the same organization that killed her, and you are preaching about morals. What a joke!" Delilah seethed. 

Simon could see tears of helplessness in her eyes, and his eyes softened.
