The fog prevented her from seeing them clearly and Auriana couldn't help but wonder if this was one of those scenarios Lyrus warned her about. Her heartbeat threatened to accelerate but she maintained a leveled head. If this was indeed one of those scenarios, then she could not let them know she was shaken by their sudden appearance.

Auriana let out a growl of her and released a bit of her alpha aura. Immediately she heard whimpers and the wolves stopped drawing closer and fell on their bellies on the ground. Now able to see more than just their paws, she was able to identify them.

These were actual wolves and not a group of Shifters ambushing her. Auriana laughed and shook her head at her overreaction and thinking about this.
