The Twilight Pavilion stood as one of the most extraordinary and difficult-to-enter buildings in the entire branch of the Bamboo Silk House. In the midday sun of spring, the building gathered enough of a chill to the air to leave visitors wondering if winter still held a grip on the weather.
For Wu Ling, it had been more than three years since he last entered the Twilight Pavilion. At the time, Aunt Hyacinth and one of her apprentices had been preparing Wu Ningli to leave the sect despite the limited time she'd been given to recover from the injuries inflicted by the Sanguine Saber Sect.
