Kapitel 32: 32. Syrinn

Hendoor lead everyone to the frozen lake. With every step taken towards the pond Syrinn, surrounding air turned more tense and cold.

"It's getting cold." Mikesh said, rubbing his palms together for relief as Zoya covered herself further with scarf and Diya huddled closer to Halo who was now back in the form of cucumber.

"Halo is not a blanket." Halo said, his big eyes staring ahead at the lake.

"I know but you are my friend and I'm really cold." Said Diya with a cozy smile and held one of his hands in her own.

"Halo is not happ— your palm is burning hot." Halo's slow sugary voice turned panicked and loud. Diya had some idea about why this could have happened, she looked around to see if anyone has heard him but everyone was busy in their own conversation, Dadi and Zoya has even increased their pace to reach the lake fast, now that they know the way.

"I can't talk now, I'm confused myself." Diya said, pulling her hand away from Halo.
