The distance between Chris and Goburus remained, with Goburus stopping his advance. The Soul Reaper Goblin, sensing Chris's fear, suppressed his intimidating aura, causing Chris's body to regain its mobility.

The sudden relief allowed Chris to move once more, and he dismissed his previous fear as mere exhaustion. "Oh, I can move again. It must have been fatigue that temporarily hindered me. Me? Scared of this goblin? No f*cking way," Chris blindly convinced himself as he continued his approach.
