"What the hell? Are you out of your mind?" Aki shouted at the person who had just shot at them. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a girl.

"A girl?" Aki noticed she was dressed in a scarlet full dress with black accents that resembled a military uniform or perhaps a band member's outfit. A white ribbon adorned the center of her collar, and she wore white stockings with black ribbons tied around them.

Still hiding behind the bench, Aki shouted, "Who sent you?" But the girl didn't budge, keeping her gun pointed at him. The weapon looked like a toy, but Aki wasn't taking any chances—he was certain the bullet that almost hit them came from it.

"Why did you shoot at us?" Aki tried to keep the conversation going, hoping to buy some time. He didn't want to play the hero and attempt to disarm someone with a real gun barehanded. He also had the sense that they weren't in immediate danger, so stalling for reinforcements seemed like the safest option.

The girl didn't respond right away, her gaze locked on him. After a long, tense moment, she finally spoke, her voice flat and emotionless. "Because you mocked this place. This amusement park will succeed one day. I'll make sure of it."

Aki sighed, trying to keep his cool. He needed to defuse the situation before it escalated any further. "Look, I get that you care about this place. But shooting at people? That's a crime. If you get caught, you'll be in jail, and then how will you help the park?"

Runa, still clinging to Aki's sleeve, looked up at him with wide, frightened eyes. Aki subtly gestured for her to move back, indicating the guards who had just arrived. He didn't want to take any chances, even though the situation seemed like it could still be controlled.

Runa hesitated, whispering, "Shijo-kun, please…"

Aki glanced down at her, understanding the fear and conflict in her eyes. She didn't want to leave him, but he needed her to be safe. He shook hee head slightly, urging her to retreat. Heartbroken, Runa finally nodded and began to crawl backward toward the safety of the black suir guards, who were hiding behind the trees.

As she moved away,Sento—lifted her gun again, pointing it directly at Aki's head. "I can't kill you, but I can still make you forget everything that happened here after i torture you."

Aki felt a chill at her words. The way she spoke of making him forget was eerie, and he didn't want to find out what she meant. But he kept his voice steady, playing the role of a negotiator. "Miss, I wasn't ridiculing this place, not seriously."

"Then explain," Sento demanded, her tone still harsh but laced with curiosity.

Aki took a deep breath, wiping at his eyes as if wiping away invisible tears. "This amusement park was a big part of my childhood. I have so many fond memories here, but now... it's all ruined. I wasn't really dissatisfied, just sad and frustrated."

Sento's grip on the gun wavered slightly as she processed his words, her vigilant stance softening just a bit. "So, what you're saying is... you didn't mean anything you said?"

Aki hesitated for a moment. "Well, I meant half of it....But before you point that gun at me again, hear me out."

Sento tensed, but she didn't move to shoot.

"I was really disappointed to see this place falling apart," Aki continued. "So, how about this: I'll help financially to restore the park. I don't want to see it disappear after all."

Sento's eyes widened, and she lowered the gun just a little more. "Do you really mean that?" she asked, her voice almost hopeful.

Aki nodded, hoping to convince her. "I do. I'll help bring this place back to its former glory. But first, you need to stop pointing guns at us."

Sento looked conflicted, her grip on the gun loosening as she considered his offer. For the first time, she seemed to waver, the fierce determination in her eyes giving way to uncertainty.

"Fine," she said after a long pause, lowering her weapon completely. "But if you're lying..."

"I'm not," Aki assured her. "I promise."

Sento finally relaxed, the tension easing from her shoulders as she lowered her weapon fully.

Aki handed the girl a card, smiling as he waved goodbye. "Here's my card. It has my number and address on it. You can visit anytime to continue this conversation, but for today, I need to go."

He then walked over to where Runa was waiting, dismissing his bodyguards before saying, "Let's head somewhere else."

Runa nodded, though she still felt a bit disappointed—she had hoped Aki would understand her feelings better.

As they rode off on Aki's bike, Runa, feeling more at ease after visiting a few other places, mumbled from behind, "Shijo-kun, did you really give that crazy girl your home address?"

Aki chuckled. "That girl who shot at us? No way. Like hell, I'd support that place."

"Eh? Then what was that card you gave her?" Runa asked, surprised.

"Oh, that was the local police station's address and their contact number," Aki replied with a smirk.

Runa burst out laughing. "Now I almost feel sorry for her!"

"Don't be," Aki laughed as well, imagining the girl's reaction when she realized.

Just then, Aki's phone rang, and he pulled over to answer it. "Mother?" he whispered to himself before picking up.

"Hello?" Aki said, signaling to Runa that he was on a call.

"Aki, I'm heading to Russia for a month. Could you take care of one of my patients while I'm gone?" his mother asked.

"Mom, can't you ask one of the other doctors or nurses to handle it? Why do you always take on so much work?" Aki asked, slightly exasperated.

His mother chuckled. "I just love taking care of my patients. This one's a little girl with asthma. She's being discharged in seven days. Can you visit her for at least an hour each day to help ease her anxiety? Please?"

Sighing, Aki agreed. "Alright, alright. I'll do it. But make sure you call me occasionally. You're always so busy, you never check in."

"Okay, I promise I'll call you after I land. Thanks, Aki!" With that, the call ended.

"Was that your mother?" Runa asked curiously.

"Yeah. I need to drop by the hospital," Aki explained.

Runa looked concerned. "Is your mother okay?"

"No, no, you misunderstood. My mother works there. It's just an errand she asked me to run," Aki said, not wanting to go into too much detail and potentially scare Runa by mentioning that the hospital is part of his mother's collection.

"Oh, I see," Runa sighed in relief. "But if it's urgent, you can drop me off at the bus station," she offered.

"It's fine. I'll drop you home," Aki said, restarting the bike and driving away.
