Kapitel 3: Fly 3

Meanwhile in another house.

A loud bang on the door made the owner of the room curl up in bed. Her mother had gone mad, she thought.

"Qitt, open the door we need to talk!" A woman who is still Looking beautiful at his age that no longer younger seemed to be covered with anger.

"Quitta! Listen to me, open the door or I will ask someone to break down this door!"

A sentence that immediately made the owner of the name get up and immediately opened the door of her room.

The 18-year-old girl put on a no less sour face when the eyes of the two met each other.

"What are you doing? Want to mess things up?" snapped the older woman.

The teenage girl in front of her didn't budge, she just silently hugged her favorite monkey doll.

"Quitta, just answer me!"

"What else should I answer Mom, what?! You only to hear what you want, not how exactly do I feel, what I want, or what I want to say to you!"

Quitta began to sob, but it doesn't make Anastasia melt. She hates her mother even more which makes her cry.

"I hope you can be mature, everything I do is for your good too. After all, you're getting big and you're about to graduate from school, so it's only reasonable that I want you to get married." Anastasia said a little softened.

Quitta didn't budge, she was sure that whatever she said her mother would refute it. If she already has a wish, her mother will try hard to make her wish come true. It doesn't matter if she has to sacrifice many things, including the feelings of her daughter.

We'll talk again when you calm down." Anastasia continued as she left Quitta in her room.

Quitta sobbed more and more. She regrets her decision to live with Anastasia. She should have chosen Mahendra, her father. His gentle-hearted father would never force him to do something she didn't like.

"I will leave here after graduating from school ... " Quitta said in her sobs.

Quitta fell asleep after tired of crying over her fate. A call from a foreign number missed her ears. Her ears were tired, so were her eyes, and even more so her mind.

***

During recess Quitta invites Farah, her best friend, to sit under a big tree on the edge of the school field. Rather than being in the cafeteria, Quitta is more comfortable spending time contemplating and cooling her head away from the crowd. Farah, who is always her vent, and helps her whenever there is a problem, is always the right choice to accompany her.

Two boxes of chocolate-flavored milk and a sandwich she had brought from home, were enough to fill their stomachs. Farah also brought snacks that they could eat together.

"Every day the sandwich is getting better, I think you are worthy to follow the Master Chef," Farah explained accompanied by laughter from both of them.

"What the hell, the taste of bread is just like that. After all, it's easy, I can make something more complicated for you. What kind of cuisine do you want, American, European, or Indonesian? I can do regional dishes too." Quitta said proudly.

"Ya, I believe, that's why you want to continue cooking classes too, your skills are not nuts anymore." Farah's response.

"But my Mom didn't agree. She said being chef didn't fit our family image." Quitta whispered with his head down.

A tear dripped down her smooth cheek but did not escape Farah's attention.

"Sshtt, look!" Whispered Farah distracting both of them.

A male student walked over. From afar he was already smiling, showing off his well-groomed white teeth.

Quitta snorted, actually judging by the way he walked Quitta didn't like the boy.

"Hey Qitt! Your mom said you will come to my house?" asked Ghaza, the boy's name. His thin red lips pulled into a smile decorated with charming dimples.

Quitta looked away and said, "Too bad she didn't tell me, so maybe she meant only her, not me!"

"It's okay, you say that. But I trust your mom more because last night she called my mom to make sure and asked me to be a private guide for your first house tour at my house." Gaza says.

Quitta refrained from spitting out his annoyance, one fingernail pressing her index finger made her wince in pain.

"How big is your house Za, why do you need a house tour ?" Farah asked which Ghaza replied with a gesture.

Ghaza tilted his body towards Quitta.

"We're gonna get married, soon. So it's natural for your mom to ask us to be closer to each other. And we also definitely have to know each other's insides and outsides. Ahh, I don't mind teaching you sex before and after marriage." Ghaza said half whispering in Quitta's ear.

Quitta's face turned red, her hands gripping the folds of her uniform skirt. Her heart was boiling when she heard Ghaza's words.

"I'd better go first, looks like you two haven't finished lunch yet. The bell will ring soon." Gaza said with a meaningful smile.

Farah looked at her friend with pity.

"Qitt ..." Sarah says softly.

"I have to talk to my mom." Break up Quitta.

"You said she wouldn't change her mind." Farah denied.

"Then what should I do? I don't want to just accept this arranged marriage." Sobbed Farah.

Farah brings Quitta's hand to his lap.

"You can talk to your dad, I'm sure he will surely support you."

Quitta nods his head. Although not sure, the solution of Farah can be tried.

"Let's finish the food first, don't let our stomachs go limp when dealing with calculus, the teacher is known as the most killer in the whole school!" giggled Farah, no doubt making Quitta smile too.

"And don't forget he won't be satisfied until his students die of lice because they can't do the questions on the blackboard." Add Quitta.

"That's right! Oh ... this bread is even more delicious to eat after watching the debate between two people who are matched." Farah chirps casually.

Quitta looked at Farah with a frown.

"It's not a joke."

"I'm sorry. Um, you know, among basketball players Ghaza is famous as a ball and woman beater." Tell Farah.

"I don't know, and I don't want to know." Cetus Quitta, looked at Farah and stuck his tongue out.

"Don't be like that, I don't want it as a friend if you buy a cat in a sack. You know, right?!"

"Rather than that, I'd rather not buy it at all. I know that Ghaza is a player. His ex is in every class, and not only his classmates, but there are also many underclassmen too. Because a guy itches like he's a 'one week one girl' believer.

Farah looked at Quitta in disbelief.

"So you've known?!"

Quitta nodded and say in the heart. "And that's the second reason that makes me hate him."

"Nothing does know about him."

"But I'm sure your marriage with Ghaza will be unavoidable. Seeing your moms tough character." Farah said sure.

"You said I could talk to my dad, I'm sure he'll help me."

"Yes hopefully," said Farah.

"How come you're not sure now, even though a few minutes ago you suggested it."

"Yeah, sure. But we also have to be prepared with all possibilities." Says Farah wise.

Quitta is silent. She stuffed the cheese sandwich into her mouth. The more she thought, the more her stomach felt hungry.
