Kapitel 87: THE AFTERMATH

I slammed the door shut behind me, the echo of it reverberating through the office. My chest tightened as I leaned against the door, trying to catch my breath. Ross' words kept replaying in my head, like a broken record that refused to stop. I had never felt so many emotions at the same time. Jealousy, Anger, and Possessiveness all hit my body at once.

"I've been thinking, Sean... I want to ask Jessel out and date her" 

I could still hear his voice, casual, unbothered. He had no idea what he was doing to me at that moment, no idea the storm he was about to unleash inside me. I shouldn't have let it get to me.

 But I did.

My fists clench, and I feel the burn of jealousy eating me alive. How could Ross—Ross of all people—think he could just waltz in and claim her? As if she were a prize to be won. As if he had any idea what we had. Jessel was not just someone you date. She... God, she was everything.
