EOCorps was one of the oldest companies in Beo City and had been handed down for about four generations. The succession had always been from father to son, but it looked uncertain this time. Emad Owens had married early.

He met the love of his life when she was in university. He was about a decade older than her, and they had been inseparable but were regrettably not able to have any children till he was in his fifties. And unfortunately, his wife died not long after, and that had left him devastated. He had poured all his love and attention on his son who had unluckily also not lived long.

Now in his nineties, he had no designated heir yet to his vast riches and assets. But all hope was not lost as he had a lot of cousins with children who could succeed him.
