Chapter 148

Alessandro's POV

She kicks my leg hoping to cause a diversion. But I never went to Italy for nothing. Even as her gun goes to shoot at me, I dodge and kick her in the stomach. 

She starts to run to one side of a truck, shooting as she runs. 

I do the same, making sure to dodge her bullets. There's no way I'm letting her get away. I also need to find out who her boss is. 

The audio I've recorded will be enough for the council to punish her. But I want to prevent her from getting away and going into hiding. 

I climb up one of the trucks wanting to surprise her but she's no longer there. Just as I turn a bullet misses me, I see her climbing towards me. 

I quickly for my gun at her and miss. Another shot hits her arm and she screams. She moves to the side, and holds on to the edge she's climbing with her one good arm. 

The sound of some cars speeding our way comes to me. I look up to see the flashy cars.
