Azrael Pov
As the car enters the drive way I'm just standing there with Dad, and a boot to use as a portkey. we were already dressed in suits that were black with a white dress shirt. Dad had a tie while I didn't wear one.
As the girls got out of the car we told them to not take long as we guided Lucius into the living room. When we all sat down Lucius spoke up.
"So this is what a muggle home is like, it is quite nice, although it could use more gold." he spoke with humor in his tone.
"Unfortunately, or fortunately, we aren't rich enough for gold accents. Plus that is much too gaudy for our taste."
"Yes it is the same for most muggle borns." He confessed.
"There Is a reason for this, would you like to learn something about muggles?" I asked him and he nodded.
"You see this?" I ask as I pick up a lamp.
"This is a lamp, it is powered by something muggles call electricity. To make it you need metals that conduct electricity easily." I told him and he nodded.
"Now this lamp and this cord are made with copper, but there are some electronics that are made with gold." He had a look of understanding and curiosity in his eyes.
"And how is electricity made?" he asked and I grinned from ear to ear.
"Muggles turn ambient mana into it." I told him and both he and my father had looks of surprise.
"You see there are many ways muggles turn mana into electricity. One is with contraptions called wind turbines, they convert the mana in the air to energy by caching the wind and turning a motor. Another way is by burning something and boiling water with it, the stem then turns a motor. Or a rushing river by making dams. But my personal favorite is what muggles call nuclear reactors which uses materials that are radioactive." I paused for dramatic effect.
"After all using mana to transform mana is quite ironic." I finished.
"What do you mean Azrael?" Dad took the bait.
"Radiation is ambient mana just dense. So much so that it infuses with anything and everything, and is the reason it kills muggles they cant handle the infusion. That is one of the reasons muggle parents aren't allowed at Hogwarts it would kill them, and because of the whole witch hunt thing." I lectured them, stopping to see if they were listening.
"It is why places with high amounts of radiation grow in life faster. The plant life increases, and the wild life booms. which is something that makes muggles amazing not only did they figure out how to change the mana's form they even weaponized it and made tools to read the density of it in a given place called Geiger counters." I finished, and there was a moment of silence until.
"One moment what do you mean weaponize it?" Lucius asked me.
"They are called nuclear bombs, they take mana rich stone and encase it in lead the mana bounces off the lead back into the mana rich stone which releases more mana until it goes to the point that it ruptures and causes an explosion. The radiation or mana can travel far and all of the muggles would have to be evacuated." I explained further. My father had a look of horror as he spoke up.
"Are you saying that you are radioactive?"
"No, radiation is mana in the air not the body, in-fact magicals when they replenish their mana they suck in some of the ambient mana aka background radiation. Just by existing we keep the ambient mana in check and, with how many spells we cast we suck up a lot of the mana. Hell if magicals fought at a nuclear bomb sight they could clear up the radiation much faster and fight for longer." I reassured him and I saw him visibly relax.
"Well as interesting as the impromptu lesson was, may we get going?" Mom spoke up from behind us. As I turn around I notice what they are wearing. Mom is wearing a blue dress with a white floral pattern. Aisha was wearing a pink sundress with a blue floral pattern, and her hair pink as-well in a nice bun with two bangs framing her face.
"Yes we should, lets go to the back yard." I spoke as I got up handing the boot to Lucius to make a portkey to his manor. linking Aisha's arm with my own I lead everyone to the back yard.
"Alright everyone grab the boot and don't let go you will get lost." Lucius told us, and I roll my eyes.
"He is joking, once it starts whatever body part is touching it will stick until we land." I said with a grin. I saw Lucius tisk, at he fact I ruined his fun.
We all grab onto the portkey and activate it sending us into the spinning mess that is portkey travel. When Lucius let's go me and Aisha also let go, only to find our-selves falling to the ground. So we swing our bodies so that we land feet first, our parents not so much. They face plant into the ground, grass flying everywhere and mud getting on their clothes. chuckling I told them.
"Get up so you can be clean and we can go inside." They glared at me knowing that I dam-well knew what that was like. Lucius, on the other hand, was giving me and Aisha an impressed look. No doubt do to that being the first time we were traveling with portkey and we didn't mimic our parents.
When they got up Lucius casted a 'scourgify' on them, then they noticed the manor, realizing that Lucius was rich. The manor was a large building with 6 towers and was symmetrical, the towers had 4 floors while the main building had 3. The building was green with gray accents, and several windows on each floor. All walled off by a stone wall with a gate in the middle with a arch and further walled off with a row of hedges all the way to the front door.
"Welcome to my manor. Please come inside." Lucius stated as the gates opened for him and he walked to the manor's entrance. The rest of us fallowed our parents seeming a little faint, holding each other by the arms. While us twins just walked like this was a normal Tuesday, also with our arms linked.
When we got to the door Lucius opened it with a nice grin on his face, to show us the entry hall. Which was similar in color to the out side but with a silver accent to it. It also had two people in it, a boy and a women. The boy had white-blond hair, light grey eyes, and was about our age, Draco Malfoy. While the woman had blond hair, blue eyes, pail skin, and was closer to Lucius' age, Narcissa Malfoy nee Black.
Draco was giving us a confused look, while Narcissa a kind one. Then Draco opened his mouth.
"Father you said that some important people were coming for dinner, so why are there some muggles here." He spoke without a pompous rich kid tone, but a genuinely confused tone. Me and
Aisha look at each other and speak in twins speak with a bow and a curtsy respectively.
"Greetings heir Malfoy," I said.
"pleased to make your acquaintance." Aisha finished.
"This is my sister, Aisha,"
"and this is my brother, Azrael."
" we are,"
"happy you,"
"could have,"
"us." We finished together, and we could tell every one was getting a head-ache.
"Don't start you two, I don't need a head-ache" Our father told us and we just snickered.
"Hello, Azrael, Aisha, I am Draco Malfoy, and this is my mother Narcissa Malfoy nee Black. Welcome to our home. If you don't mind my asking why does father see you as important?" Draco had introduced himself, then asked.
"That would be my fault." My sister started.
"You see I had bumped into him when leaving a store and had a case of accidental magic. You see my magic is naturally geared towards Purifying and healing, so it kind of burnt his dark mark off" She had told the audience. Draco had a look that screamed pondering, while Narcissa had a look of controlled joy. Like when someone is exited but tries to keep a strait face.
"So Aisha has the power to remove the Dark mark." Draco asked
"Her magic is naturally purifying. It isn't that she has a power to remove it her magic can just remove what does not belong." I explained.
"My magic is a naturally dark form. So purifying me would only remove any light based magic in my system. It removes what doesn't belong." I paused to see his reaction and he looked confused.
"But I thought that purifying someone would remove the dark in their magic." He spoke his question.
"What your thinking of is light magic. Light based magics that remove dark is a thing only because light naturally combats dark. If a spell is meant to remove light magic from someone it will, if it is supposed to remove the light magic it will." I explained and then paused and realized what I said.
"Correction it doesn't remove magic you can't remove magic. What it does is transform the magic to whatever alignment it is supposed to turn it into." I stopped my rant only to see looks of confusion.
"What is it that you didn't understand." I asked with a tilt of my head. Expressing that I am trying to help.
"Simplify it for the non magicals." My dad replied.
"There are rituals that can change the nature of your magic, specifically light or dark alignment. These changes can be caused by the ritual or be a side effect. What most magicals consider purifying rituals actually change your base nature to light." I stopped and looked around to see who understood so far, most of the people understood this much.
"An actual purifying ritual turns whatever impurities into what they are supposed to be. Like if you purify my magic it will get darker in nature, where if you purify Aisha's magic it will get lighter." Pausing I notice that everyone was still with me.
"What Aisha did was to turn the magic in the dark mark to the magic in Lucius, turning what wasn't supposed to be there into what is. Removing the dark mark in the process." I finished hoping that they understood.
"OK interesting, and how do you know more about magic as a muggle born than a fully trained magical?" Drako asked clearly wondering how I know all this stuff when I haven't been to Hogwarts.
"Simply, because I'm a seer. Do you want the long explanation?" I asked wondering if he would leave it at that.
"I would like the long explanation please." Draco asked cordially. By this point we sat at the dinner table.
"I have a very strong gift in the form of what is called the 'Akashic Records'." I revealed and got questioning looks from those not in the know.
"The AR, as I like to refer to it, is a theory some muggle came up with where it is a library that contains information on anything and everything that ever has happened or will happen. That library is real and I have access to it in the form of my seer gift." I finished with looks of aw from the Malfoys.
"So you know everything?" Narcissa spoke for the first time this evening. Clearly in aw and trepidation.
"Yes and no. While yes I have access to all of the information I could ever want. I still have to read it first and hope I don't miss anything." I assured.
"That is amazing, and how far are you in the Hogwarts curriculum?" Lucius asked.
"Aisha is in her second year mostly do to magical restraints. While yes we have been practicing magic on a daily basis, we still need to go through our first magical matu8rity at 11. Theory wise we are much further than even the department of mystery, after all we have all the knowledge that has been lost, or hasn't even been found yet." I revealed and they just nodded their heads.
"I figured it would be that way. If you have the theory why not learn it. Although it is impressive that you can cast 2nd year magic at your age. Like you said, your magical maturity is important you no doubt know this but your parents might not, after 11 and before 20. After 11 you get three more one at 14 then 17 then the last one at 20." Lucius explained to our parents.
"During this time their magic will increase at a faster rate than before. It will be like their magic was more solid while during the 9 years it will be stretchy. They will also have a slight increase in magic after each maturity." Lucius explained.
With our parents understanding came along the food. So we talked and had some small talk and ate our food. Aisha and I are getting along with Draco, and dare I say it we were making a friend in him, he seemed to enjoy our company. Then Lucius spoke up once more.
"Excuse me, now as I told Aisha I would like to make a offer." He spoke with a serious tone.
"As you no doubt know Aisha was able to remove my dark mark. As such I would like to thank you by paying for your magical education, whether that be with materials, magical focus, or schooling." Lucius explained before he was cut off.
"That is too much Mr. Malfoy you don't need to do this." Dad had exclaimed, worried that we would be putting Lucius in a tuff spot. I guess he didn't register the manor we are in.
"I assure you this manor is not for show." Lucius said with a hint of amusement.
"Besides how expensive can a pair of twins be." Then he put his foot in his mouth. There are so many rituals that are some what expensive to complete, and now we have a money bag to use.
"What is the catch." Aisha spoke, I taught her so well. Everything has a price, an exchange of one thing for another, this is a basic principle of magic. Also known as equivalent exchange.
"I ask that you be friends with Draco here. He may not show it but I can tell that he is quite lonely. After all the people he interacts with are all people who want his money and station. I want you to show him what it is like to just have friends." Lucius stated with a small smile on his face looking at Draco.
"Eh your late on that one." I said with a deadpan tone.
"We have become friends over the course of this dinner." Aisha spoke and I was somewhat surprised. This whole thing was happening because my sister had a chance encounter with Lucius. Truly a surprise and that we got along with Draco, the surpris is light but still surprising.
"But we accept, on the condition that Draco can publicly be friends with us and that we go shopping at Diagon Alley together." I spoke up with a smile at Draco.
"Thank you it will be a big burden of mine and my wife's backs." And with that the dinner was over. Lucius had shown us out of the manor and took us back home, giving us a portkey that can go from our house to their manor permanently.
We thanked him for his hospitality and portkey, and sent him on his way. The day was full of excitement and we had all gotten tired so we got cleaned up and went to our room. We fell asleep the moment our heads hit our pillows.
