Kapitel 51: Chapter 2.4

"One more time!" Orion bellowed, his voice echoing through the training arena as he closely observed his hybrids engaged in combat.

"Precision and coordination! You are an extension of each other!" Orion's voice sliced through the sounds of combat, underscoring the significance of teamwork and synchronization. "You are a pack, stronger together. Once more, again!"

Orion observed his pack engaged in both combat and training. Having arrived just a few months ago, he had transformed every willing werewolf into a hybrid. Ingeniously, he ensured they couldn't sever the sire bond he established, using it to keep their primal instincts in check and maintain control over their insatiable thirst.

Orion had discovered that by tapping into this connection, he could guide and direct their instincts, molding them into a cohesive unit that functioned as a single, lethal entity.

"Seeing you be bossy is hot," Freya remarked with a mischievous smile, pulling Orion into a passionate kiss.

Orion couldn't help but wear a faint smile as they broke the kiss. "Let's not get too distracted, Freya. There's still work to be done," Orion said, a hint of playfulness in his voice.

Freya chuckled, the playful glint in her eyes never fading. "Oh, there's always time for a little distraction, love," she replied, a mischievous grin on her lips.

Their laughter echoed across the training ground, a momentary reprieve from the intensity that surrounded them. Freya's mischievous charm had a way of breaking through Orion's stoicism

As the laughter subsided, Orion found himself reflecting on the past month spent with Freya. At first, his feelings were subtle – a fluttering in his stomach during their encounters, a lingering warmth after their conversations.

But as days turned into weeks, those fleeting moments grew into something deeper, something he could no longer dismiss as mere coincidence or fleeting fancy. It was in how Freya's laughter seemed to resonate within him or how her presence brought a sense of ease he rarely found elsewhere.

As he watched her walk away, he smiled, knowing he had fallen for Freya Mikaelson.

"Cal take over training," Orion instructed with a tone of authority. Having been a hybrid longer than the rest, Cal had not only adapted to the changes but also emerged as the beta."

Cal nodded, his expression a mix of respect and responsibility. "I've got it covered, Orion. They'll be in good hands,"

Orion quickly went to Freya and lifted her in his arms. "You're leaving already?" he said in a playful tone. "I thought you enjoyed being here with me."

Being with Freya, Orion felt that he could relax and enjoy himself more.

"Is what you're saying true?" the witch in front of Abby questioned. Abby met the piercing gaze, firm in her conviction.

"It is true. My son has become an affront to nature. You felt the shock; you sensed the power. It was potent, and it was wrong. Despite being my flesh and blood, he has betrayed the rules of nature. He is all three species: Werewolf, Witch, and Vampire," Abby revealed, her words hanging heavily in the air.

The witches surrounding her gasped, their whispers of "abomination" and other cruel words creating a murmuring undercurrent of disapproval.

Amidst the gasps and muttered words of condemnation, the head witch stepped forward, her expression stern and disapproving. "This is an abomination against the natural order," she declared, her voice cutting through the whispers like a blade. "A blending of species in such a manner is forbidden. It disrupts the harmony of our traditions and invites chaos."

Abby met the head witch's gaze with defiance and sadness. "I know the consequences, and I understand the severity of his actions. But he is my son, and I seek guidance on how to remedy this situation," she pleaded, a mother torn between loyalty to her blood and the laws of the mystical world.

The head witch remained unyielding, her disapproval etched on her face. "There is no remedy for such a transgression. The laws of nature are absolute, and we cannot allow this aberration to exist. It poses a threat not only to our kind but to the very fabric of magic."

The head witch raised her hand, commanding silence. "This matter will be brought before other witches. We will spread the word about his existence. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your son's fate is sealed; he will not survive. You may leave; your presence is no longer needed," she declared, her voice firm and unwavering.

As Abby left, the head witch, Eve, swiftly sent a message to the Triad, emphasizing the urgency of the matter.

—------------------

Witches, being a gossipy lot, couldn't resist poking their noses where they didn't belong. Word of the Tribrid had already spread like wildfire, reaching every corner of the supernatural community. From werewolves to vampires and fellow witches, everyone was aware. Among the witches, Orion's existence was seen as an insult, a challenge to the established norms. Some vampires viewed him with disdain, considering him a dilution of their pure bloodline—tainted by the inclusion of two other species. Yet, amidst the disapproval, some remained indifferent.

Amidst the commotion within the Triad facility, Clarke, overseeing his assembly of witches, looked down with determination. "Find the Tribrid. I want him now," he commanded.

—---------------------

Orion left his hybrids under Cal's temporary leadership as he went to Mystic Falls for a particular task — to burn a specific tree. Since Orion couldn't achieve total immortality, he created a weakness that he protected closely. This tree, growing in the same spot where he first performed the spell and where he died, was located at Stevens's quarry, his destination. Orion needed to wait until the tree grew larger before destroying it.

Once a tiny sapling, the black oak tree had grown surprisingly fast and tall quickly. Orion was amazed at how quickly it had grown as if it had been given a special potion to speed up its growth.

He raised an eyebrow, a wry smile forming on his face, "Well, Mother Nature certainly doesn't mess around when it comes to balance, does it?" Just like the Originals were vulnerable to the white oak and Hope to the red oak, the only thing that could end Orion's life was the black oak.

Before creating his hybrids, Orion placed a powerful barrier spell around the tree, making it invisible. When he arrived, he removed the spell and took a piece of the black oak. He chose not to burn the entire tree because if he did, nature would cause it to regrow in a place he couldn't control, where others might find it. Orion didn't want to risk that happening.

Knowing the black oak tree was the only thing that could end his life, Orion carefully set it on fire with a spell, saying, "Incedia." He watched as the tree burned, creating ashes he collected as a precaution. He placed these ashes in a unique, protected container.

As the tree burned, the light from the fire made eerie shadows on Orion's face. After securing the ashes and taking a piece of the black oak, he disappeared, leaving no sign of the tree behind.

- How does Elena know Pastor Young's daughter, April Young?

 - Logically standing, where does Expression come from? It has to have a source, like how witches can naturally do magic; they can also perform expression. It has to come from some being. Let me know your thoughts and where the source comes from.

- Also, the next chapter is devious; it's gonna have Orion Heartbroken!!
