Kapitel 173: Three Reasons

Her heartbeat accelerated and her knees weakened as Gu Xin Ye watched Qin Zhan approaching her slowly. She tightened her hands into fists and tried to remind herself not to be scared.

Finally, Qin Zhan stopped in front of her.

The man's tall figure made Gu Xin Ye look up. 

Qin Zhan gave Gu Xin Ye a lookover and chuckled. "Vice President Gu, you really do look different with your spectacles. I did not know that you wore them. Are you nearsighted, or far-sighted?"

It was then that Gu Xin Ye realized that she was still wearing her glasses just to make her face look sharp so that she could scare her staff.

She always wore her hair in a high ponytail and wore her glasses to build her confidence while facing people. But now that Qin Zhan was in front of her, Gu Xin Ye did not think that wearing glasses helped much.

She was still nervous to be around him.

"None of them. I wear them for fashion." Gu Xin Ye came up with a reason.
