Kapitel 281: I'm Leaving

Gu Xin Ye was unpacking the takeout meal in the kitchen when Qin Zhan appeared behind her. 

The image of Qin Zhan approaching to kiss her came to her mind, almost making her jump in anxiety.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Qin Zhan asked.

Gu Xin Ye forced herself to calm down. She swept her gaze around the place and finally pointed at the utensils on the other side. "Then, you can help me set up the table."

"Alright." 

A breath of relief escaped her when she saw Qin Zhan leave the kitchen and head to the dining area. She quickly carried the dishes out and invited Qin Zhan to eat.

This time, the couple was eating their meal silently.

Gu Xin Ye peeked at Qin Zhan a few times, hoping that she could come up with a topic to break the silence, but she could not come up with anything. Each time that she looked at Qin Zhan, she would remember the look on his face as he was about to kiss her.

Her heart was beating irregularly.
