Kapitel 223: Cover Your Ears

Gu Xin Ye agreed to have a meal with Qin Zhan after the man told her that he was going to need her to accompany him to buy some ingredients.

This time, Qin Zhan needed some fresh ingredients and he let Gu Xin Ye accompany him to the market to buy some stuff. 

Worried that they might run into someone they know, Gu Xin Ye suggested that they go somewhere farther from the company.

After a while, they both arrived at a cafe.

The place was within walking distance of the market that Qin Zhan wanted to visit. 

Gu Xin Ye also heard that the place had good food and their pastries were quite famous. She thought that it would be good for Qin Zhan to look at the other pastries.

Qin Zhan naturally did not have an objection.

When they arrived, the area was already packed with cars. Gu Xin Ye had to park a little farther and they had to walk to the cafe.

Qin Zhan heaved a long sigh as he looked at the empty street in front of him.
