Kapitel 76: Chapter 76: Afternoon tea party VI

Serena gave herself another once over. Though Charlton implied that she looked like a mess, when she looked at the mirror, thankfully, only her hair was a bit ruffled from the fall and her eyes a little red from her tears. Overall, she still looked great if she says so herself. 

It took a while to fix herself and when she finally stepped out of the loo, Charlton has already left. Good. Anyhow, thinking that she has been gone from the drawing room for too long and certain people must have already noticed her absence, she decided to head back.

Arriving inside, she noticed that unlike earlier when male and female stayed on opposite sides of the room, now, there was no more divide and instead, they intermixed and began mingling with each other.

As her eyes searched for her brother Leonard who has escorted her for the day since Annalys has been excused from her duty as their family was hosting the event, her eyes landed on Charlton instead.
