Inside the tallest presidential suite at Aeternum New City largest Hotel, a man wearing a white bathrobes, sitting on his woolly red sofas with a red wine on his left hand and a newspaper on his right, enjoying his luxury relaxing morning, all of a sudden a middle age man comes in wearing a full steel armour greeting him.
"Your Highness..Looks like the Dukedom and The institute, already signing an alliance with Aeternum..". (General Kasim)
Taking off his helmet the middle age General casually apraoch the sofa and grab a handful of grapes from the table, his demeanour changed 360 from before he entered the room.
"Well it clear that it will happen the moment they sent Princess Angela and that old wizard…..If I were a king I would do the same, I wonder if Sir Mies would be interested in me?..". (Prince Sladin)
Prince Sladin remarks made General Kasim stunned, it's his first time hearing him questions himself. He know his nephew never act like this, from he was a child, Prince Sladin is a well known genius, though her mother was a mere concubine, he alone rose to claim the prince title alone. Though everyone sees it as a mercy from the emperor, in actuality it's not, Prince Sladin own his place by scheming and bloodying his hand. To see him questions himself, it's definitely worrying for General Kasim.
"Umm..why not we try asking him?..".(General Kasim)

From Dukedom of Angela, Princess Angela Seraphim and her entourage Baroness Rebecca, were seated on the left side of the table. From Institute of Wizardly and Scholar Grand Wizard Lionel Alkord and his entourage,High Scholar Vannesa Lumariy. Elder Carn Furry already signed the trade agreements with Aeternum last night, it's not a comlicated deal, as it's only a requested that was similar to what the Pegasus Wheel Company asked for, so he doesn't need to appear in this meering.
"Signing that agreements on the table will officially starts our alliance..".
"Ehem!…who would've thought that the institute have the same intentions as mine…". (Princess Angela)
She's clearly blushing as she carefully signed the paper. At first she thought she were the only one who will be signing an alliance who would've thought despite her effort to keep this matter under warp, she would be sitting in the room with another party.

The old wizard also embarrassed himself, he also thought that Aeternum will only be alliance with him and the institute, of course for the last few days he also been secretly meeting with Vice President Elijah.
"i don't see the needs of covering such eventful moments…what we sign here is a good thing, we made a decision that will benefits all of us…all 3 of our nations is small compare to other nations on this continent….I don't see why we should be embarrassed by us holding hands together for our bright future….".
I know due to the nature of this world and era, people tend to hide their intentions of allying someone, as such moves tend to make other rivals or neighbour nations wary of such moves. Of course to me this alliance will not be publicize, but will slowly be reported on the radios, of course the term of this 2 alliance were not the same.
For Dukedom of Angela, the term was Aeternum will opened our store at their nations, we also be supplying a specialize weapons to them which is Crossbow (At first they asked for firearms, but we adamantly refused and they accepts it). Aeternum also will be providing a training for Dukedom Army (Only to the level of rank 1 warrior) for a fixed amounts of 10 gold coins per soldier. Dukedom of Angela instead will be selling their resources (Raw foods, metals, etc) to Aeternum at half of the market prices, providing a direct route to Aeternum both Air and Land, Dukedom Also will be giving 2 kilometer square of lands outside Dukedom of Angela capital, Angel city for Aeternum to build their ambassador building. Also in the agreements also stated that both nations will only imposed half tax on all traded items, Aeternum also wont be participating in any Dukedom of Angela war. The alliance will stand for 5 years,
On Dukedom side this agreements was definitely lean more to them, though they weren't able to obtain any military help from Aeternum, they still managed to obtain the powerful crossbow, which was a new things to them though it cost 2 gold each, compared to the crossbow you found in Fantasma, Aeternum crossbow was thousand times superior, also the training regime that will provide any soldier to rank 1 warrior will definitely improved Dukedom military strength, right now there no nations in central continent had any army that had a rank 1 warrior as a standard army the price of 10 gold per soldier was actually a rip off amount o have a highly professional soldier.
Even the kingdom of Hallerus only have 30% of rank 1 soldier in their Army. That's why Princess Angela can afford to accept Aeternum rejections of military help and selling the firearms, besides not only she able to obtained a highly professional soldiers, she also managed to opened a trade route which will definitely boost Dukedom of Angela economy. Dukedom Of Angela was known to be a nations that tightly closed their borders while they rich in resources, they can only trade with Free Nation of Triangle Guild and Coalitions Of Scholar and Wizardly, al because they supported the non-human race. Now that they have another trade partner, Princess Angela definitely announced this alliance a success.
As for the alliance with the Coalitions Of Scholar and Wizardly, it was much more simper. The terms was basically more focused to the educational sides, Coalitions Of Scholar and Wizardly wanted Aeternum to supply them with papers and utensils, educational books. Aeternum also agreed to host (Enrol their students on the military school) the C.0.S.A.W students for 2 months a year. C.0.S.A.W will also be supplying a Aeternum with it fresh batch of graduates (Magic production's related fields) to Aeternum. C.0.S.A.W also will provide a land for Aeternum to build it's embassy, also opening a trade route to Aeternum. In the agreements also states that Aeternum will not participate in any war that C.0.S.A.W in, but instead C.0.S.A.W will be obligated to help Aeternum should they be called upon.
Just like Princess Angela of Dukedom, Grand Wizard Lionel Alkord also thought the deal was more beneficial to them, ever since he visited the Grand Library and Aeternum Military schools he was well aware that Aeternum was more advance and educated than the Institute. But magic related wise, Institute still have an edge, beside the high quality paper and advance utensils has attracted the scholar and magicians interest which he and his entourage agreed by all means the institute need to have them, Aeternum Cloud white Paper was by far the greatest quality paper the have ever seen, such paper can be used to write an produced the highest magic scrolls, and believe it or not they able to buy it at only a 100 gold per bundle (400 ply) which is to everyone in Fantasma, to be able buy such quality for that prices, it was definitely a daylight robbery to the seller. C.0.S.A.W rarely made an alliance, but they knew they had to as they seen what Aeternum can offer them.
Despite their hidden greed, Aeternum was more than welcome to supply them with all their needs to the points of opening their famous stores but also suggesting a collaborations, to further educating their students. And all Aeternum need is proficient worker in any related magical field (Enchanter, scroll writer, beast tamer, magical crafter. etc). To C.0.S.A.W and Grand Wizard Lionel Alkord such worker was everywhere in C.0.S.A.W because the only people who in this field of work was a low caste people (Commoner) and their numbers far surpassed the students of scholar, warriors and wizardly who became C.0.S.A.W main focused. C.0.S.A.W is more than willing to fulfils Aeternum request, they even willing to make those low caste people slaves and give it for free as long as Aeternum continue to sell them the paper. Still after reaping a large profit from the alliance, Grand Wizard Lionel Alkord feel guilty, that's why he decided that Aeternum will be exempt form taxes for 3 years when trading inside C.0.S.A.W and also agreed to provide any military help when Aeternum needed as the alliance valid.
Both Dukedom of Angela and C.0.S.A.W thought they gained more than they bargained,but little that they know that what they get was actually nothing to Aeternum,instead what Aeternum get was actually a free ticket to bared it's fang on those both nations Economy.
