Matthew's POV:
After surveying the empty residency of Daria Ivanova, we all returned to LA. This is worse than the last time when we went on a mission to Mexico.
At least the last time, I was able to guess who the traitor was. Agent Marcus was persuading me to find out the traitor as I did in Mexico. But this time, I have no idea! Anyone could be the black sheep here.
Now the department is trying to give the full responsibility of the case to Interpol. If that happens, then Sophie and I will get no credit at all. This sucks!
Sophie and I worked so hard in this case. We both laid the basic foundation of this investigation. I was the one who interrogated Hannah and bought the matter into light.
I guess that the world works in an unfair way! Hard-working people always end up getting used by the credit stealing monsters.
