Kapitel 36: IT'S NOW OR NEVER

Nova kicked him in the crotch and he staggered back with a loud roar, releasing her in the process. She seized the opportunity to race to her car and drive off, but he was on his feet fast. His hand wrapped around her neck from behind as he shoved her forward. She clawed at his arms, struggling to draw enough oxygen into her lungs. 

" I'm going to die. " That was the only thought going through her mind as he gripped her throat tighter and brought the knife to the side of her waist.

Andrew could feel the adrenaline building up in his body, the blood in his veins rushing through his abdomen in rage, and he inhaled deeply as his eyes darkened in response to the scene in front of him.

His gaze was drawn to the man's back. He caught the man off guard by grabbing the hand he was using to hold the knife and shoved it away, sending the knife flying to the floor.
