The loud thud of the eerily silent office brought disturbance to the calm infernal green flame that was the only source of light in the dark room. The heaving intruder stammered as his small wrinkled fingers seek the support of his trembling knees.

Upon the mention of the young lady, the unbothered look of the man changed into one hundred eighty degrees in a matter of split-second.
