Kapitel 38: Levi's Threat I

Having a date with a set of black coffee and cookies in the middle of Sunday was fun-fucking-tastic for Crescent who was plagued with a series of tiring events that dried the heck out of her wits end. Now, she could finally take a day off to herself where no red flags were involved, and that went without saying.

For someone who once lived at the apex of a buzzing mortal city, she was quite used to the constant rumbling of Nimbus clouds around her and the occasional thunderclaps with a series of blinking lightning zaps in tow.

Clad in her black lacey chemise minus her usual stockings and eyeliner, Cent let herself be immersed in enjoying her simmering black coffee while reading the Holy Grail book which would make her father flip if he saw her. Her bare feet curled against the cold tiled floor, and a cluster of shadows hovering over her acted as her umbrella against the harsh downpour of rain that always whipped the House of Lamentation.
