22.92% Transmigration: Master Jiang's Hot Spy Wife / Chapter 36: Reclaiming the Riches

Kapitel 36: Reclaiming the Riches

Xiao Zheng was engrossed in his work, his fingers dancing across the keyboard as he busy with his own work.

Suddenly, a red light on his laptop began to flash, and Xiao Zheng's brow furrowed in concentration. "What's going on?" he muttered, quickly typing in a series of commands to investigate the disturbance.

As the data scrolled across the screen, Xiao Zheng's eyes widened in surprise. "Someone's trying to hack into Sis' accounts? Impossible!"

He knew the encryption protocols he had personally designed were virtually impenetrable. Whoever was attempting this breach must be a skilled hacker indeed. Narrowing his eyes, Xiao Zheng set to work, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he traced the source of the intrusion.

"Let's see who's trying to get their hands on Sis' hard-earned money," he growled, a hint of irritation in his voice.

After a few moments of intense typing, Xiao Zheng's expression shifted from one of concentration to one of triumph. "Gotcha!"

With a few more keystrokes, he had hacked into the computer of the would-be intruder, activating the webcam. When he saw the face of Zhang Kai, his lips curled into a snarl.

"So, this is the bastard who killed my sister," he muttered, quickly taking a screenshot to send to Feng Ruoxi. "Well, you're not getting a single yuan of her money, you filthy scum."

Turning his attention back to the task at hand, Xiao Zheng began to strengthen the security measures even further, his fingers moving with a sense of purpose and precision. He knew that Bai Yunshu had been meticulous in her financial planning, and he was determined to honor her legacy by ensuring that her wealth remained out of the reach of those who would seek to exploit it.

As he worked, Xiao Zheng's mind raced with thoughts of revenge. Zhang Kai had taken so much from his sister - her life, her freedom, her future. Now, he was trying to steal the fruits of her labor as well. But Xiao Zheng was not about to let that happen.

"Not on my watch, Zhang Kai," he muttered, his eyes narrowing with determination. "You're not getting a single yuan of Sis' money, not if I have anything to say about it."

After what felt like hours of intense coding and strategizing, Xiao Zheng finally leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. "There, that should do it. Even the best hacker in the world won't be able to crack this fortress."

Picking up his phone, he quickly composed a message to Feng Ruoxi, informing her of the situation. Her response was immediate, and Xiao Zheng couldn't help but chuckle at her instructions.

"Transfer all of her funds to her new identity, huh?" he murmured, already typing out the commands. "That is an easy task."

As he worked, Xiao Zheng couldn't help but marvel at the sheer scale of Bai Yunshu's wealth. Multiple offshore accounts, luxury properties scattered across the country, and a staggering balance in her primary account - it was clear that his sister had been a true master of her craft.

"2.3 billion," he whispered, his eyes widening in disbelief. "Sis, you really were the best, weren't you?"

With a few more keystrokes, Xiao Zheng had completed the transfer, ensuring that every last yuan of Bai Yunshu's fortune was now safely in Feng Ruoxi's possession. Leaning back in his chair, he let out a weary sigh, a sense of satisfaction and relief washing over him.

"There, Sis. Your money is safe now," he murmured, a small smile playing on his lips. "And that bastard Zhang Kai will never get his hands on it, I can promise you that."

Once the transfers were complete, Xiao Zheng leaned back in his chair, a satisfied sigh escaping his lips. "There, all done. Now let's see what our little friend Zhang Kai has in store for us."

Quickly, he began to work on a little "gift" for the would-be thief, his lips curving into a mischievous grin. "Sis said to leave him a surprise, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do."

For the next several hours, the only sound in the study was the rhythmic tapping of Xiao Zheng's fingers on the keyboard as he meticulously crafted his trap. Every so often, he'd mutter under his breath, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Seriously, this guy thinks he can just waltz in and take Sis' hard-earned money? Doesn't he know who he's dealing with?" He let out a soft chuckle, his eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "Well, he's about to find out the hard way."

Finally, with a triumphant flourish, Xiao Zheng leaned back in his chair, a satisfied grin spreading across his face. "There, all done. Now let's see how our dear friend Zhang Kai likes this little surprise."

Picking up his phone, he quickly composed a text message and hit send, his lips curving into a mischievous smile.

"Alright, Sis. The ball's in your court now."

Meanwhile, miles away, Feng Ruoxi sat in Jiang Yukang's lavish villa, her eyes fixed on the screen of her phone as she waited for Xiao Zheng's update. The moment the message arrived, her lips curled into a satisfied smile.

"Excellent work, bro," she murmured, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she typed out a response. "Now, let's see how our dear friend Zhang Kai likes his little 'gift'."

Back in his study, Xiao Zheng watched as the message from Feng Ruoxi popped up on his screen. His grin widened as he read her instructions, and he immediately set to work, his fingers dancing across the keyboard with practiced ease.

"Oh, this is going to be good," he chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Zhang Kai has no idea what's in store for him."

For the next few hours, Xiao Zheng worked tirelessly, his brow furrowed in concentration as he executed Feng Ruoxi's instructions to the letter. Every so often, he'd pause to check the status of Zhang Kai's attempts to access Bai Yunshu's accounts, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips.

"Come on, Zhang Kai. Take the bait," he muttered, his fingers flying across the keyboard.

Finally, as the clock struck midnight, Xiao Zheng leaned back in his chair with a triumphant sigh. "There, all done. Now let's see how our dear friend likes his little surprise."

Picking up his phone, he quickly typed out a message to Feng Ruoxi, informing her that the deed was done. Her response was immediate, and Xiao Zheng couldn't help but chuckle at her words.

"Excellent work, bro. I knew I could count on you. Now, let's sit back and watch the show."

With a satisfied nod, Xiao Zheng turned his attention back to his laptop, eagerly anticipating Zhang Kai's reaction to the "gift" he had left for him.

Back at the Jiang residence, Feng Ruoxi sat in the plush armchair, her fingers drumming against the leather as she waited for Xiao Zheng's update. When the message finally arrived, a satisfied smile spread across her face.

"Well, well, well, Zhang Kai. It seems you've bitten off more than you can chew," she murmured, her eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "Time to pay the piper for your crimes."

Feng Ruoxi was certain of one thing, she would get her chance with Zhang Kai. She had momentarily paused her revenge plan in her mind, but now since Zhang Kai seemed to have not forgotten about her even after he killed and buried her body, it meant she had to start phase one of her plan.
