Kapitel 156: I Do Care About You.

Tao Luqi woke up screaming loudly and immediately found herself in a warm embrace.

"Hey, it's alright, I'm right here baby. Don't be scared, it's just a bad dream." Fu Mingze said while caressing her hair.

Tao Luqi clung tightly to Fu Mingze while breathing heavily, it was only after a while did she realized that she was in Fu Mingze's arms. Even after realizing that, she still stayed in his arms for a brief moment before slowly pulling away and that was when she realized that she was actually in a hospital.

"Why am I here?" Tao Luqi asked as she looked around the hospital room.

"You don't remember what happened or about the conversation we had?" Mingze asked with a frown, even after what Doctor Fei had told him, part of him was still waiting for a kind of miracle, he was hoping that his Meiyi would recognize him after she woke up.
