The conversation was held in a teahouse or a restaurant. They had some money, so they could come to this kind of place to eat.

But in another place, it could be said that the ground was full of corpses. These corpses had all starved to death, and many of them had numb faces.

Many of the people here were naked and dirty. Their faces were numb and lifeless. They did not even have the energy to hide their shame.
