The first month of the year passed rather quickly and as far as everyone knew, Esong was still away on his exploration mission. Only Justin, Scarlet and the babies were aware of the truth. 

Lanta was the only outsider with this knowledge but she didn't share it with anyone. 

The exchange of texts between Scarlet and Esong grew. They communicated more and more often, and not a day went by without hearing from each other.
