Olinda just wanted to do some farming and continue to practice her alchemy but she didn't mind getting herself a teacher. Her talent was quite high and now she didn't believe that she will be bullied even if she tries to enter a sect.

So, she truthfully told Alayna about what she wanted and Layna agreed with her, "if there is any sect that you desire, you can pick on it or I can talk to Neal and ask that master of his if there is any teacher that can take you in. It's good to learn from those with experience."

She couldn't possibly teach her kids at home; she wasn't a teacher and her aptitude used to be low. Even now she didn't even cultivate as the system deals with her cultivation issues for her, but her kids were different, they all need to rely on their hard work to achieve anything.
