As Crystal stood before the closed door outside the President's office, she took a moment to gather her thoughts and release a heavy sigh.
She raised her hand and softly rapped the door, "Knock, knock, knock."
The sound echoed through the hallway as she waited for a response from inside the office.
It didn't take long for a voice to call out, "Come in!" The irritation in the voice was unmistakable.
Without pausing, Crystal straightened her posture, her face a mask devoid of emotion, and turned the doorknob.
With purposeful steps, she entered the office and walked directly to stand in front of James' imposing desk.
"Is there anything you need, Sir?" she inquired, standing erect and gazing directly at James with an impassive expression.
James engrossed in reading her resume and other documents, appeared visibly annoyed, with two furrowed lines etched between his brows.
