When the clinic learned of her absence, a panic broke out. Dr. Claire Lee and Dr. Garcia looked all over, but Crystal was nowhere to be found. 

They had worried that something like this might occur, but none had anticipated how silently and swiftly she would disappear. 

Unbeknownst to them, Mr. Wright had contacted Crystal through his minions worldwide; he has one working at Dr. Garcia's facility.

The same person had helped Crystal escape without anyone noticing.

Even though he was in prison, he had managed to get back in touch with Crystal; the puppet ropes he used to manipulate were still wrapped around her delicate psyche.

His message was clear: finish the mission or pay the consequences.

After falling victim to Mr. Wright's evil manipulation, Crystal immediately turned her attention to the Go family. Mr. Wright's minion could counter the serum that prevented Crystal from working.
